Boulder Planning and Development Services permit RFG2025-00007: issued Jan 8, 2025 for roofing work at 1777 Conestoga St. Roof Overlay, 230 squares of EPDM on a pitch represented as less than 2/12. Provide additional information -- such as manufacturer's cut sheet for other products used - including, but not limited to, items such as flashing, valley material, sealants, fasteners, ventilation devices or features and roof jacks & penetration boots. SURFACE PREPARATION ?Shovel rock ballast into wind-rows in preparation for membrane replacement. ?Remove and dispose of existing EPDM membrane flashing, counter-flashing and coping metal. ?The existing EPDM membrane on the field of the roof will be cut into 10?x10? grids leaving it in place so not to expose the existing rigid insulation. Insulation ?install ?? wood fiber or Fanfold insulation cover board loose laid over existing prepared membrane surface. ?Install taper EPS crickets behind high side of RTU?s (1.0# density) as needed. ?Reuse existing rigid insulation and replace wet or damage on a unit price bases of $4.50/SF _______ initial to accept. EPDM SHEET ROOFING MEMBRANE AND FLASHINGS ?Install 0.060 thick (black) non-reinforced EPDM membrane loose laid and rock ballasted roofing system as manufactured by Carlisle SynTec. ?At walls and base flashings, secure primary membrane per manufacturer?s details and requirements. ?Extend membrane flashing up & over exterior parapet wall or to the existing 2-pc counter-flashing. ?Note: Electrical & mechanical disconnects and reconnects will be required for the wall flashing and is not included in this proposal. SURFACING ?Redistribute the existing rock ballast and provide additional if needed.
