Mesa Development Services permit PMT21-14914: opened Sep 13, 2021 for pool or spa work at 1902 N Bernard Cir. Construct a 390 SQ FT in-ground swimming pool. Reference master plan # mst19-00393. Install new electrical line: 53 FT of 1" wrapped imc a minimum of 6" ground cover or, 1" emt conduit above ground. (4) #10 Thwn wire from main panel to sub panel. 30 Amp circuit breaker. Installation to comply with 2017 nec and srp specifications. Install new gas line: 23 FT of 3/4" pe gas piping, # 18 tracer wire a minimum of 18" ground cover. From meter to 35k btu fire pit. Code modification – appeal was hereby made to the building official for a modification from, or interpretation of, section 305.4 #1 of the international swimming pool and spa code (ispsc) which requires that: section 305.4 #1 operable windows having a sill height of less than 48" above the indoor finished floor and doors shall have an alarm that produces an audible warning when the window or their screens are opened…"that an alarm, compliant with 2017 UL requirements be provided as barrier when windows of a dwelling or structure serve as part of the barrier and where doors and/or windows provide direct access to the pool/spa through that wall. Approval with code modification - appeal was hereby made to the building official for a modification from, or interpretation of section: ispsc 305.4 of the 2018 irc with mesa amendments, which requires stipulations which includes a latching device not less than 54" above the floor. Emergency escape windows may have an alarm or a latching device not less that 54" above the floor. Homeowner shall not change or modify the barrier in any way without approval of the building official. Homeowners shall inform future owner of the conditions of this code modification. Ref: pool permit pmt21-14914. These plans shall conform to the requirements of 2018 ispsc and the mesa residential code with all city of mesa amendments. New gas line permit/information related to this poo permit pmt22-08141 install new gas lines: [g1] 76 FT of 1" pe gas pipe from meter to 35k fire pit. [G2] 3' of 1" pe gas pipe t'd of of main line to 65k bbq. Both gas lines to have #18 tracer wire, a minimum of 8" ground cover. Installation to comply with 2018 ifgc and city of mesa gas specifications.
