A completed Contractor Verification Form must also be submitted prior to being issued a permit. This structure is to be restored like for like in compliance with 2017 NEC, 2018 IRC/IBC requirements. Any alterations or changes will require submitting plans before any restoration can begin. During the damage inspection the following was observed: Structural members have been damaged by and will need an engineers observation letter. Electrical sustained minor damage. The panel may need to be replaced if determined that the electrician can?t bring it to current codes. Replace damaged wire per 2017 NEC and/or 2018 IRC/IBC. Any exposed wires that are not code compliant/damaged/or create life safety must comply with 2018 IRC/2017NEC. Mechanical was not damaged no repairs needed. Plumbing does not appear to be damaged Note: Any structural members charred to a depth of 1/8" or greater are to be replaced.
