The 8,000,000 gal net capacity lng tank includes storage and secondary containment of lng in the form of a double wall concrete and steel tank. The steel components of the tank consist of an inner 9% nickel tank and bottom, and an outer free standing steel liner. The full containment tank is supported by an elevated reinforced upper concrete slab, friction pendulum seismic isolators, and a reinforced concrete base slab. Seperate packages for the lower slab foundation & upper slab, plinths, and isolators were previously submitted (bldcn17-0012 & bldcn17-0028). An independent design review of the seismic design for the steel tank was conducted and is included in this package. The inner 9% nickel tank contains hydrostatic pressure exerted by the lng. It is 129 in diameter and 95-8 high. The design liquid level is 86-3. The concrete outer tank contains vapor pressure and provides secondary containment of the lng. The free standing steel liner is designed to form the inside face of the concrete wall. It is 135-6 in diameter and 103-6 high. A separate package will be submitted for the concrete tank.
