Wake County Permit and Inspections permit CBPR-145631-2025: issued May 7, 2025 for fire systems work at 10225 Chambers Rd. SP - BANKS RD ELE SCHOOL - E & M TRADES - Project includes replacement of existing natural gas fired boilers and associated supporting work. Scope generally includes the following: 1. Replacement of (2) existing 2,000 MBH condensing boilers with (2) 2,000 MBH condensing boilers. Please notice boilers are propane gas. 2. Addition of primary heating hot water pumps. 3. Replacement of existing secondary heating water pump and addition of another secondary heating water pump for redundancy. 4. Replacement of existing heating water expansion tank. 5. Replacement of existing heating water air separator. 6. Replacement of existing heating water chemical feeder. 7. Replacement of existing domestic water heater and associated pump. Please note water heater is propane gas. 8. BAS Controls work: a. Provide new N4 JACE (existing Ax JACE is Honeywell). b. Bring all existing points into new JACE. c. Provide new heating hot water and chilled water plant controllers. Existing controllers are Schneider. 9. Provide new CO detector in boiler room. Connect to existing fire alarm. Existing fire alarm control panel is a Simplex 4100ES addressable panel. 10. Provide new 100-amp breaker in MDP, remove existing 60-amp spare breaker, and provide new 100-amp 480/277v, 3-phase panel to serve new mechanical equipment. a. Electrical service shut down will be required since this is a combination switchboard/transformer/panel enclosure. Shut down shall be performed and scheduled over a weekend. 11. Remove and replace existing boiler room lighting. Project is in Town of Fuquay Varina's jurisdiction. Please find correspondence uploaded indicating no review is required from Town of Fuquay Varina. Project is currently being publicly bid. Contractor information will be added once successful bidder is determined. 4/29/2025 RCB See internal notes about pre-isuance and final ILAs.
