Install temporary shoring and furnish & install supplemental steel to the existing column flanges and webs to address areas of minor section loss. 3. For columns with severe corrosion-related deterioration and cross-section loss, create a concrete pile cap extension for installing temporary shoring required to complete a full cut and splice repair including installation of a new column section and base plate connection.
