The purpose of these drawings is to support the permit application for a new outdoor dining area located beneath a portion of the existing covered patio. Project considerations include: A new fenced outdoor seating area is proposed, containing three dining tables. The total occupant load for the proposed restaurant, including the outdoor seating area, is lower than that of the previous establishment. Based on historical photographs and archived plans of the former restaurant, the previous occupant load was calculated at 251 occupants. Refer to Exhibit G282. The proposed occupant load for the new restaurant, including the outdoor dining patio, is 215 occupants. Refer to Exhibit G281. No modifications to the existing building façades are proposed. Existing on-site parking is expected to adequately accommodate the proposed occupancy, as the total occupant load is reduced from that of the previous use.
