Mesa Development Services permit PMT24-17096, opened Sep 23, 2024 for 1400 S Dobson Rd: other commercial. This project consists of 4,200SF building addition and 6,000SF renovation & finish refreshing to existing 1-story, type 1-A construction, I-2 condition 2 occupancy emergency department. Building addition consist of waiting room expansion and creating connection to pediatric ED. Renovation includes expanding charge nurse area, support spaces and corridors and interior finish refreshing at existing intake rooms. Site improvements include demo of existing waiting room, ED lobby canopy. New 1,049 SF Canopy and drop off area and underground utilities will be developed to support expansion. No new water meters. Project is phased construction. Occupancy of two areas in existing building will occur prior to completion of addition. Refer to sheet G006 for Phasing Plan. Special inspections for concrete, masonry, soils, steel, spray fire resistance material & caulking, epoxy & Expansion anchors, smoke control, med gas. Deferred Cold-Form Steel Framing and Curtain Wall and Window Framing. Deferred fire sprinklers and fire alarms. Results in CoO for addition.
