All three of these tanks have always been sitting inside a steel secondary containment. There is no electrical or plumbing associated with either of these tanks, they are just portable storage tanks that we will be scrapping. We will NOT be putting new tanks in place of these tanks. We have been working with MDE's Oil Operations Permit department, and we are in the process of cleaning and closing out the tanks.. We will be taking soil samples and having them tested using MDE requirements for testing. as per code, *notes: must ensure that the property is environmentally safe after the removal.
