EXTERIOR WORK - NON-STRUCTURAL ALTERATIONS -Approved as per CHAP Authorization to Proceed. Retroactive approval for the following scope of work: On the rear and side ell elevations, replace the windows at the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors with 6/6 vinyl windows with grilles between glass and additional framing. The rear elevation is not visible from any public right of way; this approval does not set a precedent. Complete the following work on the front fa ade: Remove all surviving window elements and retain Baltimore bullnose brickmold trim. Install Jeld-Wen W-5500 aluminum-clad wood windows; window frames to be installed behind the historic brickmold so that there is minimal visible framing (no frame within a frame). At the basement, install one awning window; at the 1st floor, install two 1/1 windows OR 6/6 wood windows with exterior simulated divided lights (SDLs). At the 2nd and 3rd floors, install six 6/6 windows with grilles between the glass; applicant to install aftermarket SDL muntins onto the upper windows; applicant is to install on one window for staff review and approval before installing on the rest. Windows and window trim to be painted with custom paint color to match existing. All work to be completed as per information/plans/specs in CHAP files except where this ATP supersedes. All other exterior work, including infilling of window openings, door repair/replication, cornice repair, etc. requires a separate application and building permit.
