THIS IS THROUGH THE CITY'S LOAN/GRANT PROGRAM 2nd floor hallway bathroom (toilet): Replace and install new comfort height toilet manufactured by Kohler 2nd floor hallway bathroom (shower): Repair the shower drainage by opening the ceiling on the first floor beneath the second-floor shower to access the damaged drain line. Install a new 2-inch PVC drain pipe and 2-inch PVC trap, connecting the existing pipe to the new pipe using a 2-inch rubber pipe coupling. Ensure all connections are properly sealed and test for leaks after installation. Patch the ceiling opening with drywall, then finish with plaster, primer, and two coats of paint to match the existing ceiling color. Additionally, grout will be installed on the shower floor, including application of sealer and caulking at all corners to help prevent mold and water leakage 3 metal doors: Install 3 new steel exterior doors at the basement, front entrance, and kitchen locations and install new trim Install 3 new entry and deadbolt lockset manufactured by Kwikset Install caulking, prime and apply two coats of exterior semi-gloss paint on the door, jamb and casing Kitchen sink: Repair any leakage under the kitchen sink by replacing the sink trap with a new 1½-inch PVC trap. Ensure all connections are properly sealed and test for leaks after installation Install a new sink waste trap and replace the water shut-off valves Porch: Replace damaged exterior fascia wood on the top, right and left sides of the porch Replace 2 wooden columns Scrape, caulk, prime, and with 2 coats of exterior semi-gloss paint on the front, right, and left side fascia board Repaint the porch ceiling with 2 coats of exterior semi-gloss paint, matching the existing color Replace a few damaged sections of the porch floor with similar tiles Replace existing outdoor stair handrail with a new handrail of the same material as the existing and with 2 coats of exterior semi-gloss paint Main entrance steps: Demolish and remove existing main entrance steps Construct new concrete steps using a solid concrete mix, with each step measuring 7½ inches in height. Concrete steps are being installed in place of the existing step material to provide improved stability, durability, and safety for the resident Backyard steps: Remove existing backyard porch steps and handrail Build new wooden steps Build new wooden handrail and new wooden railing on the wooden steps using a 4x4 wooden post Steps and handrail will be made out of pressure-treated wood Exterior basement entrance steps: Remove all deteriorated and crumbling concrete at the top of the exterior basement steps and add new concrete.
