Baltimore Department of Housing and Community Development permit COM2019-57840: issued Apr 1, 2019 for roofing work at 4318 Falls Rd. reconstruct the small 8 1/2' x 14' first floor, elevated,addition on the rear of the home. the existing addition is structurally unsound and unsafe and is pulling away from the house. we propose to remove the rear addition, and reconstruct the addition to its current size. we will eliminate the porch roof over the addition. the new structure will be supported by the brick wall on the right and two new 6x6 pressure treated posts on pier footings. the structure will have a flat roof (1/4" slope) and a 60 mil roofing membrane. the structure will be sided with vinyl siding. walls, floors and ceilings to be insulated to current code. a powder room will be added into the new structure and tied into the existing plumbing. install 2 new plumbing fixtures and install 9 electrical fixtures, all work will be done according to baltimore city code and per submitted sketch.
