Baltimore Department of Housing and Community Development permit COM2024-52687: issued Mar 6, 2024 for roofing work at 1406 Lemmon St. rear elevation fill out cracks & replace missing bricks in rear wall. install new steel lintels over 3 windows & 1 doorway. use existing brick/matching brick in size and color bind with type s mortar. see drawings. no changes to size, height, thickness. no new openings. install new white vinyl windows + 1 new steel door in existing openings ( see drawings ) backyard: install 70 linear feet of a pt 8x6 wood panel fence. use 4x4x8 pt wood pole + caps and clips at 8ft intervals. fence will be 6 ft tall & will follow the property line ( see drawing) as per plans as per code. per chap: on the front façade, replace at the basement, 1st, 2 nd floors four (4) existing windows with four (4) new jeld-wen w-2500 series, 1/1 double wood windows applied with baltimore bullnose trim. new windows to fit the existing masonry openings with no filler. new windows to be same color, size, and location as existing windows. new windows and window trim to be painted non-high gloss white. all windows to have deteriorated frames, sills, and lintels to be replaced in-kind. new frames, sills, and lintels to be same size, color, location, and architectural style as existing historic frames, sills, and lintels. • on the front facade remove at the basement and 1st floor four (4) existing window shutters in their entirety as required for proper waterproofing and structural integrity. • on the front façade, restore at the building's roofline the existing historic wood cornice in kind as required for proper waterproofing in its entirety. existing historic cornice to be same color, size, and location as existing cornice. new cornice and to be painted new non-high gloss white. • on the front façade, replace at the 1 st floor one (1) existing door with one (1) new 6-panel wood door with punched clear transom pane applied with baltimore bullnose trim. new door and transom to fit the existing masonry opening with no filler. new door and transom to be same color, size, and location as existing doors. new door, door transom, transom trim, and door trim to be painted new sherwin-williams sw6230 rainstorm. • on the front façade, replace brick and repoint mortar at the basement floor with new brick and mortar in-kind as required for proper waterproofing and structural integrity. existing bricks to be removed, catalogued, and stored in a safe location for installation. new bricks to be same color, size, location, bond pattern, texture, and psi as existing historic bricks. new mortar to be same size, color, location, texture, psi, joint width, and joint profile. new mortar to be type-n.
