Boston Inspectional Services Department permit SF1150463: issued Jan 20, 2021 for alteration or repair work at 25 Upton St. • Install new brick, from Stiles & Hart Brick Co, on the back wall • Install wall ties 12inch vertical x 16 inches horizontal (22 gauges hot-dip galvanized 7/8 by 7) to the masonry on the existing building • Replace three lintels and two sill windows on the third, fourth, and fifth floor (precast concrete to match brownstone) • Rebuild the cornice to match the remaining existing cornice • Install helibar on every other course 10 feet away from the building on 23 Upton Street • Install blocking between joists and install ASTM A-36 tie rods, hot dipped galvanized with A-36 galvanized plates outside • Paint the plate with Rustoleum 3700 DTM primer, then with Rustoleum 3700 series DTM glass black paint • Cut ceiling plaster, to gain access to the floor joists and when done, patch the plaster with plasterboard, with joints taped and finished with joint compound. • All dust and debris from cutting of plaster shall be removed at the end of each workday. • Reset any window frames that are loose • Caulk the joint between the masonry opening as well as the wood window frame with high quality acrylic or butyl caulk.
