Boston Inspectional Services Department permit SF1653556: issued Sep 27, 2024 for roofing work at 447 Main St. Roof replacement shingles only. • Installation approx. 16 squares of Architectural Shingles Timberline HDZ. • Removal of existing shingles (up to2 layers) and underlayment's in order to expose and confirm the integrity of the existing roof sheathing. (If the roof has up to 2 layers, we will charge extra) • Installation of starter strip shingles and metal drip edge along the entire eaves/edges to protect the roof and guide water off the roof into the gutters. • Installation of grace ice & water six feet up from the eaves/edge and all the valleys to prevent leakage. (Required by building code.) • Installation of synthetic underlayment paper all the way up above the ice and water shield (to avoid water damage); (Required by building code.) • Complete clean-up and removal of all debris, including the use of a magnetic roller to pick up nails. In a minority of our roofing projects, damage sheathing may be identified during the installation process once the shingles are removed, when this is the case, additional charges for sheathing replacement will apply at a rate of $155.00 per sheet(plywood), or $4.50 per linear feet if it is a (wood board). ATTENTION: -Dirt and debris will be going into the attic. precautions such as cover valuables with plastic sheeting are highly recommended. -shrubs and landscaping near the roofline will be protected with a tarp as needed. WARRANTY All installations performed by LB Special Projects INC. company are guaranteed from the date of job completion, for 5 years on all the workmanship. • Remove all trash.
