Boston Inspectional Services Department permit SF311626: issued Dec 11, 2013 for alteration or repair work at 815 Centre St. • Demo all existing porch structure excluding roof structure and support roof where needed, dispose of all waste created during project • Remove existing footings • Set and pour 3 new footings consisting of 28"x28" big foot, 12" sona tube, and rebar • Cold pack asphalt around new footings • Reframe all three deck levels; using #1 pressure treated 2"x8" joist, 6"x8" beams, 6"x6" posts. • Joist will be hung with LUC28Z Simpson concealed flange joist hangers, painted black • Connection between 6x6 post and 6x8 beams with be made with ECCL and CCT Simpson post caps, painted black, galvanized ½" lag bolts • Top surface of all joist and beams to be covered with self-sealing ice and water membrane • Install Tongue and Groove decking on all three levels (IPE) • Install railings on each level with middle post to decrease railing span, railing set at 42" of deck center post 48" off deck (Mahogany) • Build center dividing wall between units on each second and third floor, using 5/8"x 4" beaded primed before installation.) • Build new stairs and trim with cellular PVC risers and 1x4" IPE treads • Prime and paint all framing and railings.
