Build wall/door in basement to enclose/separate furnace area (60 sf) from living space. 6. Add ceiling fans to 4 bedrooms, and recessed lights in living room, den, and basement. 7. Re-finish the hardwood floors, and re-paint home. I plan to do a lot of the work myself such as plumbing, electrical, and some of the construction, but do expect to hire some portions out, especially things involving heavy work since I have a back injury and can't lift heavy things.
