A new Notifier fire alarm system will be installed in the new building. Voice evacuation notification appliances will be installed throughout the entire building, which will alert the occupants in the event of a fire. The FACP will provide control over the elevator recall function, provide CO detection for gas powers DOAS units, in Chemistry classroom, and mechanical rooms. The FACP will provide monitoring of the fire sprinkler system. Smoke and Heat Detectors will be installed where required per codes. A new manual pull station will be installed next to the FACP. CO detectors associated with the DOAS units will shut down the associated DOAS units. The CO detectors and fire sprinkler tamper switches will cause a supervisory signal when activated. These devices will report as a supervisory signal. The fire alarm system shall be monitored through a central monitoring company of the owners choosing prior to the final inspection.
