Boulder Planning and Development Services permit MEC2025-02055: issued Nov 24, 2025 for mechanical (hvac) work at 3401 Arapahoe Ave 310. The original systems at the Peloton are integrated DHW/Forced Air systems that use a 50 or 75 gallon (depending on the size of the dwelling unit) power-vented 80MBTUH water tank that pumps heated DHW into the air handler for space heat. For replacement we are using a combi boiler, IBC Model #SFC-125 to replace the water tanks, which uses a closed loop for space heating, and a flat plate for DHW. These are being attached to the air handlers via the existing piping, with some modifications to separate the loops. PLEASE NOTE: APPLICABLE ONLY TO SYSTEMS WITH FUEL BURNING APPLIANCES: All new plastic glued vents for fuel burning appliances must undergo pressure testing. To facilitate the inspection process, please provide photographic evidence of the pressure test directly to the assigned inspector on the day the rough mechanical inspection is scheduled. Approved tests: 10 ft water test, 5 PSI positive pressure, or Negative 5 psi air pressure test for 15 Minutes. Any electrical work required beyond a like-for-like replacement of equipment will require an electrical permit for inspection of the electrical scope.

Type of work and status are our own standard labels, so permits compare across cities. The city's wording is in the "City's category" and "City's status" rows. We show costs under $100 as not listed, because filers often enter $0 or $1 when the city doesn't require a cost.
