Makowsky Construction Company, LLC will be repairing 6 units damaged by fire at the Edison Apartments located at 537 Techno Lane Units 101, 102, 103 and 539 Techno Lane Units 101, 102, & 103 Memphis TN 38105 for an estimated cost of approximately $429,935.00, depending on the fire ruling from the Memphis and Shelby County Building Department. The repairs include, but are not limited to all replacement of damaged sheathing, vinyl siding, scaffolding, wood roof decking, TPO roofing, exterior doors, insulation, electrical (consisting of outlets, switches, new light fixtures), plumbing (consisting of new piping, electric hot water tanks, faucets, commodes, sinks and fixtures), new HVAC systems (new supply ductworks, returns, thermostats and bath exhaust fans), drywall, cabinetry, doors, trim, finish hardware, finish carpentry, shelving, mirrors, painting, carpet and LVP, window treatments, final cleaning. The plumbing, electrical and mechanical subcontractors will be applying for and paying for their own respective permits. This has been submitted per a conversation with John Storms, who said that we must submit this estimate in order to get the permit and code official out for a fire ruling.
