Project consists of the installation of a splash pad that includes a closed recirculating water system with chlorine water treatment. Other project elements to be installed will be a fabric shade shelter, prefabricated equipment storage building, picnic tables, seat benches, drinking fountain, fencing, bicycle racks and landscaping. Existing restrooms will be provided by the McFarland Community Center. Bi-weekly meetings with contractor, City staff and design consultants will be required to coordinate and monitor construction progress. This project is part of the Mayor's initiative ""Accelerate Memphis"" program.
