Since then, the existing stadium has undergone several renovation and expansion projects, and now has capacity for approximately 58,300 people. The new project is proposing a substantial renovation to the West Sideline to include new premium seating options and expand the West Grandstand seating. In addition, the project will include modernization of the fan amenities and concessions along the concourses. The project scope includes a renovation and addition to the existing stadium. The general compliance approach for the project is to comply with the requirements from the currently adopted codes that address alterations, renovations, and additions to existing buildings. In all areas where the building is altered or expanded, the intent is for the design to comply with the requirements for new construction contained in the applicable codes or maintain/improve the level of safety provided from the original design. In areas of the building where no alterations occur, those areas are proposed to remain existing and unaltered since they are not impacted as a result of this project. Further, all alterations to the facility are intended to maintain or improve the performance of the existing building.
