Required structural analysis was completed by Poe Engineering and is attached. Required framing consists of structural supplementation for an insufficient roof peak and dormer rafter supports (per Poe), adding non-load supporting walls for a closet and separation from additional attic space, and adding ceiling joists. Existing 15A light and 20A outlet electrical circuits will be extended. The lighting circuit breaker will be updated with an AFCI CB at the panel, and outlets circuits will be extended off of AFCI outlets since slim circuits are installed in the panel with no additional spaces available. A separate electrical permit will be forthcoming. The main area is 13' 6"" wide by 25' 6"" long. Side walls are 4' sloping upward to an 8' ceiling. Detailed plans are attached showing locations of: Existing Outlets (EO), proposed outlets (O), Ceiling Can Lights (CL), Ceiling Fans (CF), and Switches (S). Cooling and heating will be provided by a 110V stand-alone unit vented through a window. Emergency egress is provided by through two 30"" wide windows annotated on the plans.
