Mesa Development Services permit PMT19-12567: opened Aug 6, 2019 for roofing work at 955 E University Dr. Project includes three new covered entries (exterior only) all entries are central to their courtyard. Building 1 gets new covered entry on the interior NE corner of the courtyard, to enter into the central breezeway of their administrative/ multipurpose building. Building 2 gets new covered entry on the east face of the building, within the courtyard, to enter into the lobby area of their sanctuary building. Building 2 will also get a new small steel canopy over their existing north door that exits into their northwest parking lot. Also included in this project is a new 7 foot high fence enclosure at the front of building 1 with new 3'x6' gates with emergency exit hardware. The existing monument sign will remain with new architectural enhancements to create a more pleasing look to the sign. Additionally, existing ballast & rolled asphalt roofing, and external gutter/ downspouts will be removed. Repair damaged sheathing as needed and install a new underlayment, new fascia board, new drip edge, and new 3-tab asphalt shingle roofing material. Paint the entire campus, including all stucco, all fascia, and all soffits to create a cohesive, upgraded look to the church. The existing courtyard fence & gates will be removed and replaced with new fence & rolling gates, per sheet a7 & a8. No interior work. Non-sprinklered facility.
