Demolition at 1400 S Dobson Rd, Mesa
Mesa Development Services permit PMT21-00593: opened Jul 19, 2021 for demolition work at 1400 S Dobson Rd. This project consists of following work: vertical expansion of five stories over the existing two-story portion of a existing seven story high rise medical center. Existing level one is administrative and support space. Existing level two is a pedicatric pacu. Level three is part of the expansion and is designed to provide triage, labor and delivery rooms and cesarean section operating room serivces. The fourth level will provide postpartum beds. The fifth, sixth and seventh levels are designs as medical surgical beds. The elevator shafts are existing. Three new elevators will go into the existing shafts as part of this scope. Remodel of existing lobbies on each floor is included in the scope. The remodel consists of interior refresh and elevator lobbies. Site improvements include the demolition of two buildings, the security building and the 2145 building. Surface parking with new lighting and underground rentention will be provided in these areas of demolition. In addition, the vacant north east corner of the property will be developed as surface parking. Deferred fire sprinklers. Deferred fire alarm. Deferred fire fighter air replenishment system (fars).
