Mesa Development Services permit PMT22-08138: opened Mar 2, 2022 for addition work at 3115 N Higley Rd. Installation of the arc flash relay does not involve modification, removal, or addition of any existing power wiring in the switchboard. This project strictly modifies the control of the main breaker and provide power monitoring only. The added integrator and rogowski coils will wrap around the line side bus provide current readings to the relay. A fuse block will be added in the switchboard to pick up voltage reference from the equipment bus. Close and/or Shunt coils will be added to the existing breaker (or switch) to enable remote control from the relay. Arc flash relay panel is mounted within 20' of the main panel typically mount on the wall adjacent to the equipment. One 1"C and 1 1/2"C are utilized for wiring between arc flash relay and the switchboard, one for the wiring and one for the fibers.
