A written scope of work is required to approximate the cost of the permit, verbal estimations shall not be used. A completed Contractor Verification Form must also be submitted prior to being issued a permit. This structure is to be restored like for like in compliance with 2017 NEC, 2018 IRC/IBC requirements. Electric may be restored during restoration, however if a permit is not obtained and repairs have not started within 45 days, the City of Mesa reserves the right to remove the meter immediately. Note: Any structural members charred to a depth of 1/8” or greater are to be replaced. All plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems damaged by heat are to be replaced. A.
