Any alterations or changes will require submitting plans before any restoration can begin. During the damage inspection the following was observed: All repairs must be performed in compliance with the currently adopted codes. Structural members have been damaged by and will need an engineers observation letter. Electrical sustained minor damage. The panel may need to be replaced if determined that the electrician can?t bring it to current codes. Mechanical equipment/ducts sustained minor damage. Will need to clean/repair ductwork Plumbing does not appear to be damaged Note: Any structural members charred to a depth of 1/8" or greater are to be replaced. All plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems damaged by heat are to be replaced. A. Building is: Commercial B. Construction Plans Required No A Building Permit is not required for the repairs. Electrical service can be restored under the following conditions: If temporary power is issued, a repair permit for the damage must be obtained within 30 days from the date of the Damage Inspection Report, or the power will be disconnected.
