New Orleans Department of Safety and Permits permit 19-04092-VCGEN: issued Apr 5, 2019 for electrical work at 200 Bourbon St. To replace balcony decking with Aeratis synthetic decking and to partially address demolition by neglect violations cited in case 18-09436-VCCNOP, per attached materials stamped VCC approved 04/05/19. Remove existing wood decking and purlins and install Aeratis Traditions synthetic decking and beaded wood purlins per attached detail sheet no. 12. Purlins must be spaced no further than 16" O.C. and shall be painted white, semigloss. Decking must be painted white on the underside and medium/dark gray (semigloss) on the top and sides. Remove abandoned wiring as needed. Install remaining wiring in conduits. All conduits shall be placed along the inside corners of building surfaces as much as possible, such as along gallery purlins at the deck line, and painted to match the adjacent surfaces. Note: this permit does not address all existing vieux carré commission violations. Violations cited in case 18-09436-vccnop have not been resolved and remain outstanding. Please submit a vcc permit application within thirty (30) days to address these issues or the property will be scheduled for administrative adjudication and may be subject to fines.
