New Orleans Department of Safety and Permits permit 22-02468-VCGEN: issued Jan 28, 2022 for alteration or repair work at 522 Bourbon St. Per attached materials stamped VCC approved 07/29/2022: Replace outriggers to match existing in length, attachment, detail, and assembly. Thickness to be increased to 3-1/2" Reinstall wrought iron rail and decorative scrolls, to match previously existing. Scrolls to exit fascia approx. 3/4" - 1" below trim. Floral medallion at end of scroll to be at same height as leaf medallions in wrought iron rail. Remove deteriorated floor boards, stringers, and fascia boards. Install new 3"x4" beaded stringers, 5/4x4 T&G floorboards, and 7/8" fascia with ½" bead, all as per VCC Standard Detail Sheet No. 12 (attached). Paint top and sides of decking medium gray, semigloss. Paint bottom of decking, stringers, outriggers, and fascia white/offwhite, semigloss. Paint metal rail and scrollwork to match existing, gloss. All repair/replacement work shall match existing in color, size, material, dimension, detail, profile, proportion, relationship, function, operation, and exposure, with exception of approved outrigger depth increase.
