Tacoma Planning and Development Services permit BLDCN17-0113: issued Jun 27, 2018 for new building work at 1001 E Alexander Ave. Package PS-11 presents an overview of all drawings, calculations, specifications, and other pertinent documents submitted to the City of Tacoma for obtaining the required building permit for the Area 305 Inlet Filter foundation, and Area 510 Pretreatment structural steel and mat foundation in the Tacoma LNG Facility for Puget Sound Energy (PSE). The bulk of Area 305 has already been submitted and is in BLDCN17-0055. The inlet filter separator is located on an isolated foundation adjacent to the Area 305 rack. Area 510 contains 3 structural steel racks of varying length, width, and height. The racks support piping, personnel access to equipment, and interface with modularized equipment. Area 510 foundation consists of 3 reinforced concrete slabs: a main slab which supports steel rack structures and various equipment, a strip slab which supports part of a structural steel rack, and a buried slab which contains the buried amine drain sump. The installing contract has not been selected at this time. Upon award of work, CB&I will forward appropriate Washington State and City of Tacoma business licenses.
