Wake County Permit and Inspections permit CBPR-061042-2021: issued Jun 8, 2021 for alteration or repair work at 420 Stadium Dr. WCPSS PROJECT : intent of this project to repair (1) existing precast concrete exterior wall panel at Wake Forest High School, which is exhibiting signs of spalling concrete, partially detached headed stud attachment plates, and small gaps at stair and floor caulking. The work includes: 1. Install a total of (15) steel angle connections between the existing precast wall panel and stair landings, and a total of (6) steel angle connections between the existing precast wall panel and stair stringers. The angles will be connected to the panels using threaded rods embedded in epoxy adhesive. 2. Remove and replace separated joint sealant between stair landings and stringers and the exterior wall panel. 3. Perform concrete spall repairs at locations where existing attachment plates are displaced and concrete wall panel is spalled.
