Wake County Permit and Inspections permit CBPR-164709-2026: issued Mar 2, 2026 for fire systems work at 5329 Cass Holt Rd. Sp - dth/sp wake county schools-holly springs hs - m & E trades - a. Replacement of (3) existing 2,000 MBH condensing boilers with (3) 2,000 MBH condensing boilers. Existing Lochinvar Crest boiler and associated pump will be turned over to WCPSS. b. Removal of existing ice storage tanks and glycol management system. c. Replacement of existing 350-ton chiller with new 275-ton air-cooled chiller. WCPSS will pre-purchase. d. Addition of second 275-ton air-cooled chiller. WCPSS has pre-purchased both chillers, scheduled delivery date of late June. e. Replacement of existing electric unit heater in chiller pump room. f. Replacement of all existing chilled water and hot water pumps. g. Replacement of existing expansion tanks. h. Replacement of existing air separators. i. Replacement of existing mechanical hydronic makeup water stations. j. Replacement of chilled water and hot water chemical feeders. k. Cleaning of all chilled water and hot water AHU strainers and all hot water VAV strainers. l. Replacement of all existing BAS controllers, including VAV controllers, and (3) existing JACE. All existing BAS controllers and (3) existing JACE will be turned over to WCPSS. New enclosures will be provided for new BAS controllers. New enclosures are not required for new VAV controllers. Existing JACE enclosures may be reused. m. Provide BAS network communication bus throughout building. n. Replacement of all existing BAS space temperature sensors. o. Replacement of AHU control devices including outside airflow monitoring stations, CO2 sensors, temperature & humidity sensors, static pressure sensors and switches, differential pressure sensors, current sensors, transformers, RIB's, and damper actuators that have not been recently replaced with Belimo actuators. Replacement of VAV supply temperature sensors. p. Replacement of main gym and aux gym relief air damper actuators at GV-3, 4, 22, 23. q. Replacement of select number control valves and actuators. r. Replacement of (3) existing chilled water and (3) existing hot water differential pressure transmitters. s. Replacement of all existing VFDs. Existing VFDs will be turned over to WCPSS. t. Provide new conduits between chiller yard and mechanical room for controls. u. Replacement of existing walk-in cooler and freezer evaporator/condenser and piping. Replacement of walk-in cooler and freezer door gaskets. v. Modify/provide new electrical power to support HVAC upgrades. Addition of second chiller shall be supported by new feeder from main switchboard. w. Replacement of mini power zone in chiller pump room. x. Provide new CO detector in boiler room, served from existing fire alarm system. y. Replacement of existing lighting contactors. z. Removal of existing lighting control panel in 1208 Mechanical Room. aa. Replacement of existing lighting throughout school and chiller yard Project is in Town of Holly Springs jurisdiction.
