The intent of this project is to separate 649 c street, SE from 650 pennsylvania avenue SE which is currently monitoring the pull stations in this building. A new fire alarm control panel will be installed with wireless gateways in order to provide a wireless code compliant system throughout the the common areas of this building. In order to accomplish this task, new notification and initiating devices will be provided throughout in all locations required. All hard wired devices to be tied into new circuiting. The swift wireless devices will create a mesh network from the p2 level to the roof. The garage dry sprinkler system under 649 c street will remain a part of the 650 penn fire alarm system and will be monitored via an addressable alarm relay module mounted adjacent to the new panel.garage alarms status will be provided at annunciators at 649 c and 650 penn. Phase 2 of this project will provide wireless 520 hz sounders for all dwelling units.
