A new steel beam is to be installed along the front wall to provide adequate support for the W8 steel beam.Scope of Work:1. A new W6x16 steel beam shall be installed along the front wall to support the W8 steel beam.2. The new W6x16 steel beam shall be supported on a 3 inch round steel post at each end.3. Each steel post shall be supported on a new footing.4. The footing shall be minimum 18 inch long x 18 inch wide x 12 inch deep. The bottom of the footing shall be minimum 30 inches below grade.5. Concrete shall have a minimum 28-day compressive strength of 3500 psi.
