Remove obsolete basement vent and close in opening with concrete block and mortar (once mortar is cured to manufacturer specifications) Apply dam-proofing to overlap parent concrete by minimum of 8". (Dam Proof product to be Tremco – Tremproof 250GC or equal) ? Remove the bottom courses of vinyl siding at the base of the rear wall (near entrance door) and replace. Install continuous 8"(max) band of sheathing and aluminum flashing to seal. Install proper J-Channel termination at bottom of vinyl siding. ? Seal vinyl siding to vertical foundation concrete joint at the second basement leak location (Ref. #3 Sheet A1) with closed cell foam insulation, self-adhered membrane flashing and PVC Trim board. ( All Vinyl siding in like kind (Standard Residential Grade (.44mm) CertainTeed – Monogram - Double 4 Clap or equal). Siding sample to be approved prior to installation. ? Properly install through Wall vent Hood Caps with specified proper flashing detail and seal existing holes in siding (Field Verification Required) ? Seal siding-to-soffit trim joint at the rear second-floor window bump-out, Install drip edge flashing. (Ref. 7 Sheet # A-1) ? Strip in or Replace failed EPDM membrane perimeter flashing. Replace with selfadhered elasto-form EPDM flashing. ? Remove and Replace all vinyl siding at both rising cheek walls and rear wall surrounding asphalt roof. (Standard Residential Grade (.44mm) CertainTeed – Monogram - Double 4 Clap or equal) Docusign Envelope ID: 4EB7B069-61FA-4F13-8707-1E65DDF0AD8F 3 ? Remove perimeter asphalt shingles sufficient to replace roof to wall flashing per detail on Sheet A-2. ? Remove existing gutters and associated downspouts. ? Replace gutters and downspouts with oversized K-style (per detail on Sheet A-3) ? Remove and Replace all facia board where gutters attach to PVC ? Perform a clean sweep of the worksite and dispose of waste offsite Bag and live load all construction related debris.
