With this project and in agreement with our neighbor, we would like to replace the already existing but deteriorating, wooden stockade 8 ft. tall fence on the East side of our property (18 Keane Road, West Roxbury). The abutting property on the East side is the Parkway Gas Station (705 VFW Pkwy, West Roxbury), which also has an auto shop. The Parkway Gas Station is a very busy place 7 days a week and even late into the evening. Because of continuous traffic, there are many people, cars, trucks and a lot of noise. Without a tall fence, we would have absolutely no privacy; consequently, we would feel insecure and exposed. Also the view from our property towards the gas station is very unpleasant. On the North and South sides of our property, we will replace the existing wooden fence with a similar 6 ft. white vinyl fence.
