Install a continuous #4 AWG bare copper Grounding Electrode Conductor (GEC) from the panel's neutral/ground bus to both ground rods using approved acorn clamps as needed. Install a new Intersystem Bonding Bridge and connect it to the GEC for the bonding of telephone, cable, and satellite systems as needed. Whole-Home Surge Protection: Install one (1) new Leviton Type 1 or Type 2 Whole-Home Surge Protective Device (SPD) inside the load center. Connect the SPD to a dedicated 2-pole circuit breaker, positioned as close to the main breaker as physically possible to ensure maximum effectiveness, per manufacturer and NEC best practices. Circuit Reconnection & Breaker Installation Circuit Re-routing: Extend existing branch circuit wiring as necessary to neatly enter the new load center. All connections will be made within approved junction boxes if required. Breaker Installation: Install new Leviton circuit breakers for all branch circuits, sized appropriately for the connected wire gauge. Breakers shall include modern safety features as required by the current NEC: Dual-Function AFCI/GFCI Breakers: For all circuits requiring both Arc-Fault and Ground-Fault protection, including kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, garages, and outdoor outlets. Arc-Fault (AFCI) Breakers: For all circuits requiring Arc-Fault protection, including bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, dining rooms, and other general living spaces.
